YEQ2 series automatic transfer switch is the best development of the company generation products. Mostly used to monitor the power supply circuits. When main power failured,it will change over to backup power by automatically,thus completing the transformation of power system . At present, in particular suited for the important electricity power places where disallow to failure, in order to meet the needs of the scene.Automatic switch has self-input and self-recover,self-input without self-recover, utility to utility, utility-generators work with a variety functions,the product applied in 220V,AC 50Hz,rated current from 10A to 1250A (CB class) automatically switch products.

Structure and features

YEQ2 Series intelligent dual power automatic swithes is made up of two units in 3 pole and 4 pole of MCCB and(auxiliary contacl,alarm contact),the mechanical interlocking transmission,intelligent controller and other components. It has the integral style and split type with two kinds mechanism. Integral controller is equipped with a base and executing agencies ; Split type is intelligent controller installed in the panem User take the base by implementing agencies to install into the cabinet controller with about 2m cables.

  • Reliable mechanical interlock between the two circuit breakers and electrical interlock device. Eeliminate the two devices closing completely at the same time.
  • SCM intelligent controller used to control the core hardware is simple and powerful, expansion of conv- enience, high reliability.
  • It has a short circuit, over load protection functions, over voltage,under voltage, loss phase automatic transfer function andintelligent alarm function.
  • Automatic switching external parameters can be set free.
  • Operation of Intelligent motor protection

Function

B type controller

C Type and D Type Controller

If the user requiring to conducting separated controller, choosing C or D model controller install to cabinet panel, through 2m serial data cable linked. B model controller on Switch body, all operations and display functions are all forbiding state (switch body display switches off automatically), external controller starting work, users could observed the ATS control of the switch running status through the external controller to operate when they can't open the cabinet.

Installion and wiring

Connect the linewire loadwire and neutral wire of normal power and ready power according to design of circuit mustput the steel base th rough to earth for the sake of safety.Two breaker's terminal can be mul- tipled,but must keep in phase. Connect the neutral wire of cir cuit bre aker of normal power and ready power with terminal of controller. Controller can not working reliable if Cross-Sectional Areas of wire>=2.5mm2 The operate handle as using for emergencies set it to the si de of transfer mechanism using it after put the off button be necessarily,For the sake of observe for conv enience Customer can connect a lighttoterminal. Connection as below circuit diagram

Note:

  • The connecting diagram is suitable for 4 phase ATSE. When use 3 phase ATES system,the MAIN power (NN) is connected to the junction foot N1 and the reserve power (RN) to the junction foot N2.
  • HD main power supply external status indication AC220V/1A (provided by user);
  • TD backup power supply external status indication AC220V/1A (provided by user);

Controller of Intelligent type Controller Function

  • Self-input and self-recover the default for initial electrifying is MAIN power supply, When the MAIN power supply (N) is abnormal, after OFF delay time, switch will cut off to the critical level by automatically, then through ON delay time change over to back up power to supply. When the MAIN power (N) in normally, switch come back.
  • Self-input without self-recover The controller to detect or changeover between the MAIN(N) and reserve ( R ) power supplies. The default in the initial state is MAIN power supply. When the MAIN power supply (N) in abnormal (such as over voltage, under voltage or lack phase), through the OFF delay time, switch to critical level, then the back up power ( R ) start working after switch-on delay time. Although the MAIN power supply(N) returns to normal, switch can ' t restore by automatically until the back up power is abnormity.
  • Power grid and generator The controller to detect between the MAIN power supply(N) and the generation power supply ( R ). When the reserve power supply s for the generator, the MAIN power can ' t start to generate under normal voltage. When the mains voltage is lower than 60%~85% of the rated voltage, the intelligent system will sendup a signal (a group of normally-closed contacts) to the generator. After time delay, switches to the reserve power(R) for supply automatically. When the voltage of power grid(N) returns to normal, the intelligent system switches cut off after time delay from the reserve power supply(R) and to the normal (N) for the power supply.

Connecting terminal of controller

  • 1.485A and 485B are on-line communication interfaces.
  • 2.There is a normally open contact inside the unloading interface. In case of overloading of load circuit, the unloading interface will send out an unloading order.
  • 3.is abnormal, the generation interface will switch on and send out a generation order. Note: The port is only valid for the controller in the mode of power grid-generation.
  • 4.The fire control terminal is a port providing the function of fire warning for the user. When the two fire control ports switch on, the automatic transfer switch will cut off the supply automatically in a double-break way. Note: The external connection of the fire control port must be a passive contact.
  • 5. Alarm Interface internal one normally open contact, or if the load flow, short circuit caused alarm interface circuit breakers connected release issued warning instructions. (Alarm delay 10 seconds)

Panel Layout and Description of LCD Controller (Integrated type ,fission type)

  • ①:LCD display Indicate the three-phase voltage of normal power and stand by power and together with the switch state.
  • ②:Automatic /manual button normal use: automatic, manual mode conversion button; set mode: enter and exit the menu button.
